They are not however the same books as the other Daniel Tiger books. Most pages have one sentence each and isn't really a good story time book.That said they will be great when he starts to read on his own.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.Perfect for young Daniel Tiger fans just starting to learn to readBy Susan CreggThese are NOT the usual Daniel Tiger books, so if you are looking for good stories to read to your child which closely mirror Daniel Tiger episodes this is not the set you want. However, if you have a child obsessed with Daniel Tiger who is just on the brink of starting to read these will likely give him/her the needed push.The stories aren't boring and repetitive like many of the earliest reading books, and the pictures are wonderful and reminiscent of some of the best Daniel Toger episodes. The print is large enough and the words simple enough to make a child think about trying to sound them out, and although there is very little actually written on each page, the needed story highlights come through. My 3 year old has been enjoying "reading" these books on his own (ie: intensely studying each picture over and over again, and pointing at the letters on the page), and he will bring it over to me to read a couple pages, then wander off to "study" the pages we just read.Daniel is a big star around here. He helped my son get motivated to try sitting on the potty, and I suspect that my son's desire to learn about his "hero's" adventure will soon have him reading as well.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.Terrible binding... but we love Daniel TigerBy KathyPerfect for my two year old! One of her favorite books and I love the messages.Unfortunately, I had to tape almost all the pages of the book bc everything falls apart.To reiterate all the other reviews, the binding is a hot mess.
